Hunger is hidden in plain sight.
It's the family in Plano working two jobs but still falling short as grocery costs have surged 29% since 2020. It's the 26% of local students who are economically disadvantaged, often relying on school meals as their only stable nutrition.
In America, 47 million people—1 in 7 households—face food insecurity. In our own zip codes, local demand for assistance has nearly doubled this year alone.
